Collective is a service created by Allstate’s claims organization in 2020 to empower auto damage assessors with a new way to earn money as gig economy workers. Specialists can evaluate damage through photos and descriptions uploaded to the app, which speeds up the evaluation process and time to resolution. This experience filled a niche in the auto damage assessment process, enabling more qualified assessors to work from home.
